How to Use Shampoo and Conditioner Bars
1. Wet Your Hair Thoroughly
Before applying the bars, make sure your hair is completely soaked. This helps the product lather and distribute evenly.
2. Lather the Shampoo Bar

Rub the shampoo bar between your hands to create a lather, or

Glide the bar directly over your scalp and hair a few times, focusing on the roots.
Massage with your fingertips to build up a rich lather, just like with liquid shampoo.
3. Rinse Thoroughly
Rinse your hair well to remove all shampoo. This step helps avoid buildup and leaves your hair feeling clean.
4. Apply the Conditioner Bar

Rub the conditioner bar between your hands and apply the product to the ends of your hair, or

Glide the bar directly onto your hair, focusing on mid-lengths to ends.
Let it sit for a minute or two for extra softness.
5. Rinse Again
Rinse out the conditioner thoroughly with warm water.
6. Let the Bars Dry
After use, store your bars in a well-drained soap dish or container to keep them dry between washes. This helps them last longer.

I was SO impressed with these after just one use! I have normal hair and wash every 3 days. My hair was SO soft!
I really like it so far! And it smells so good! Very easy to use and feels like it will last a while!
I really like both products. First time I have used a bar soap and bar conditioner.I also like that you can buy them separately. My shampoo wears away faster than the conditioner. I bought my daughter a set for a Christmas gift . She has long hair.
We love these products so much! As of family of curly tops we were surprised how soft it left all of our hair. Definitely will be using again
I’ve never used bar shampoo and conditioner, so naturally I was intrigued. Already have other products from Abbie (I am becoming a better cook one day at a time)! Out of the package I thought the scent was strong (I also don’t do may smells- even natural). I ordered this little shower caddy for the shampoo and conditioner from Amazon and well, tonight was the night (Dexter reference). Not sure I even paid attention to the directions, but HOLY GUACAMOLE!!! In the shower these smelled absolutely divine. My hair is cleanest it’s felt in years. The conditioner made my hair so shiny and soft. I am looking forward to my new routine and am so impressed with how well they lathered and rinsed out of my hair. If you are like me who was on the fence but intrigued- TRY THE BARS. Your hair will thank you!!!!

I have used shampoo bars and conditioner before from other companies (including a company that used special rice water in their shampoo bars), and none of them were as amazing as Flake Homestead’s bars! I was pleasantly surprised! My hair feels so amazing! You dont have to use too much, cuz the shampoo bar lathers really well! And a little goes a long way with both the shampoo and conditioner bars. Love both of them!
I really wanted to like this but sadly I did not. I gave it a full month before reviewing. My hair felt stringy and grimy, and it tangled way easily while using this set which made my already brittle hair break more when I brushed it. I went back to what I was using before and after one wash, my hair felt a lot better. I’m sad it didn't work for my hair.
